PS--I see the TH37PX60U is also coming soon. Because I live in a condo,

Thanks...

Yes, the available ports and tuners are the same for the 37PX60,
42PX60, and the 50PX60. The 37" is a nice size, but with HD and DVDs,
you may find you will enjoy the bigger screen. If I was buying a plasma
HDTV now, I would go for the 50" rather than the 42".

The biggest problem with the Playstation 2 is the possibility of
burn-in if you leave fixed fields (such as score boxes) up on the screen
too long. The last several generations of Panasonic and Pioneer plasmas
have greatly improved resistance to burn-in, but it is still something
to be careful of. The key is to be most careful during the first 100
hours of use because plasma are most sensitive to burn-in when new.
During the first 100+ hours, limit the amount of 4:3 SD material you
watch (or stretch it) and try to stick to mostly full screen 16:9 video
so you can evenly break-in in the screen. Avoid leaving a fixed menu or
frozen screen up for any prolonged period. I followed this when I got my
plasma and after some 1600 hours of use, I have yet to see a hint of
burn-in - even with the stupid logo bugs that the networks insist on
putting on the screen.

You don't need to be overly paranoid about burn-in, just a bit
careful. Panasonic claims that their plasmas are now close to resistance
to burn-in as direct view CRTs and people generally don't worry about
them that much in typical use. You may get image retention from time to
time, but that is not burn-in as the image will fade after a few minutes.

If you really want to read up on plasma and how to get HDTV, check the
plasma/LCD display and the Local HDTV reception forums at
