It's digital. It either works or not. Buy a cable, not a gold plated status symbol. You can buy perfectly good DVI-HDMI cables for $12 and a gold-plated advertising copy for $300. (Yes I actually did see a $300 DVI-HDMI cable...)
2. Any tricks about setting the ATI card output to match the HDTV monitor? Right now it is set to 1920x1200 to match my Apple cinema display.
