Cooling Components

Hello Everyone,

I had a thread running earlier in the month with the same subject. I have an
enclosed TV cabinet where I am trying to cool the components but only have
the back of the cabinet available for mounting a fan.

I bought a 180 mm (4 1/8") fan that runs on AC and is very quiet. I pointed
it out the back and found that the components got much cooler. The fan is
not hard mounted on the back yet - just sitting on top of the top component
and pointed out of an existing hole.

The temperature reduced to 86 degrees with the fan. Is this cool enough for
components? It feels slightly warm but not hot. I still have to enlarge the
hole and mount the fan which should reduce the temperature more.

Am I OK with 86 degrees? Should I bother with an intake fan as well or am I
OK?
