My Netflix screen has recently displayed the message "Invalid Email"
address. It further explains that my account needs to be updated with a
valid email address.
I checked my account and nothing has changed. If I use the "Update" button
which is provided for me, I'm forced to "click" on a new Terms agreement.
My feeling is that Netflix is telling a lie about my email address just to
get me into a new Terms agreement.
I sent netflix customer service a message telling them that I checked my
account and the email address is ok. etc.
Customer service sent me an email back (to my so called invalid email
address) and said that my account has not changed, and everything
would be fine.
Well, I'm still getting the "Invalid Email" message, and Netflix does not
send me verification of returned movies.
I'v since contacted customer service and received a reply. They said to
log out and back in, and verything will be ok.
I did that, and everything is the same.
The only thing that I have not done, is sign a new Terms agreement. If
this is the key factor, then why lie about the reason for the problem.
Netflix should say something like: "You must sign a new Terms Agreement"
instead of making up a story about my Invalid Address, or, as once claimed
in an email from Netflix: "Your Server has a problem". They had no problem
sending these wimpy lies.
