My comment is that you should include a little "safety margin" when
calculating what pixel size is needed on a certain distance.
I don't want to be able to resolve the very sharp pixels in an LCD
panel.

My own tests give me a maximum wanted pixel size around 0.85 arc
minute to get a smooth picture on my LCD-TV (and based on the native
LCD resolution).

That corresponds to a pixel size of 0.5mm x 0.5mm viewed from 2m.
(I can begin to see the pixels at 1.8m but not from 2.3m. 0.5mm at
1.8m corresponds to 0.95 arcminute, and then the picture does not look
smooth.)
