25 miles is close. I'm 45 miles and get all stations good. Your problem
appears to be your antenna system. Being 200' from the antenna, you should
be using a preamp, and possibly another distibution amp at the house.
There's no such thing as an HD antenna, but you do need a decent quality
antenna and if you don't have a good UHF antenna that could be your
problem as most HD channels broadcast over the UHF channels. There's only
one out of about 25 here that uses vhf (channel 9). A Channel master 4228
serves me well here for UHF. If you also need vhf, you might consider one
of the CM combo antennas, 3017 or larger. With analog, you can get porr
reception with a poor antenna system. With digital, it's either good
enough or you get nothing.
