cable & antenna connection

I have a dtc210 reciever with inputs from satelite, cable, and antenna. I
will only be connecting cable and antenna. I go into the box with cable on
that input and antenna with that input and then out to tv or whatever I
connect to( dvd and tivo ) Do I put a splitter or a switch in here someplace
for when I want to watch just my basic cable or just my local Hd antenna?
