Re: SAMSUNG HCN4226W... Purchased 6/15/04............Died today January 15th 2006 RIP So what's a GOOD LCD?

Now See How Things Work When You Show Respect...............

I own several Samsungs even own the HD850. I own 6 TV's, 4 LCD's, 1 JVC CRT
and 1 JVC LCD, 1 Samsung LCD and the HCN4226 and the Sony PLM-A35 and a
small Casio hand held. What I can attest to is that I have owned many TV's
some I use for business and some for pleasure. None of my friends own a
Samsung mostly Sony and Toshiba.

I did my time in Calif especially in 29 Palms.... Regardless of where I live
I monitor globally the Financial world.... and I will leave them on 24/7.
The Casio Even the TV (def. 24/7) card I have are well over 10 years old,
the Sony Goggles are also at least 8. Since 98 I've only lost 2 TV's the
Proscan which was on 24/7 and lasted 8 years and a JVC 34 CRT that also has
been on a great deal and lasted more then 10. When I decided to fool around
with HDTV I bought the 4226, I liked it and bought the JVC LCD and a small
Samsung LCD for the Kitchen...... This is my First Failure of ANYTHING I
owned less the 8 years........ With all the *** I have that's saying
something.

I had concerns buying Korean over Japanese. I'll most likely stick more with
the Japanese..... as for changes in Technology and wanting the latest and
greatest I agree, but it makes me feel better that the TV I bought 10 years
ago still works and can be donated or given to the kids as a spare.
