I have a Dish 811 tuner for HD and it has an OTA input that converts 8VSB signaling. I have a local analog cable service that has four (4) HD channels in the 85 - 88 range. I cannot get the Dish 811 tuner to go above 70 in the digital scan. Any one have the 811 and have gotten this to work??

John,

You will NOT be able to get the cable HD channels on your DISH (or any other satellite) receiver. Cable uses QAM and the tuner in your 811 receives ATSC. The only way you can receive you local OTA HD channels is by connecting an antenna to your 811.
