So no real information as to the question asked?

I really don't care about the debate over how content providers will use
their given bandwidth. That's for another thread.

The original question is asking about color limitations of mpeg4
compression. I'd much appreciate any knowledgable responses on this
issue, as it seems like a much ignored one that should not be. Please
see the orignal post for more specific questions.

No offense Bob and YeahRight, but please don't hijack this simple
thread.

(granted, I haven't gotten any on-point responses yet;)
