Re: 4:3 HD?

on my little old 20" lcd set the format options are 4:3 - same aspect
ratio as the
crt design, the 4:3 expanded - which is just a blow-up of the 4:3, and
the 16:9 which is an elongated pic (wide screen for
sports, they say) which has a tendency to make the pic appear narrower.

The 4:3 is my choice. It might be different if the resolution was
higher.

The crt, in my opinion, is a great tv, the later designed "tubes" -
probably have to go a ways - to catch up.
