Re: Upconverting DVD to HD

I've got my 34" Sony crt HD set connected to an Oppo upconverting
player. The PQ is significantly better than that of any other player
I've ever used/seen. The inhancement in PQ is not really due to
upconversion, but rather in the strength of the internal video
processor(s).

The surprise factor came in how well it drove my sound system - made it
sound as if I had a higher-end set up.
