I'm certainly glad we NEVER used cofdm here, as illustrated by pointers on this webpage:
http://www.angelfire.com/tv2/dttaerials/
and that lousy system wasn't even HDTV, can you believe it?
First this is a web page for the first UK offering. This page is at least 4 maybe 5 years old. Desperate Google searches won't help.
Yes yes...bob...I am so desperate.... LOL....
How is it that we have 1550 ATSC/8VSB stations on the air right now.
Can't you remember your desperate AVS postings 4-5 years ago, swearing 8VSB would fail? Trying to shove this same terrible 2k system down everyone's throat?
I never advocated using a 2K COFDM system. In 1999 we proposed using an 8K COFDM system with the ON2 advanced codec.
More lies. Every lunatic posting of yours on AVS was praising that current British cofdm system.
And I still praise the UK COFDM system. They were brave enough to commit before most other countries and decided that 8K was too far off to wait for.
But I never advocated that anyone use the 2K COFDM system since the better 8K system was available.
