My Pioneer Elite Pro 930 HD was delivered and installed yesterday
morning. All cabling done through Monster Cable Component Video
cables and all audio done through Monster cable optical audio cables.
Video souces: Directv HD receiver with TIVO MPEG-2 compression and
Yamaha DVD changer. Audio receiver: Yamaha HRT receiver Speakers:
Definative Technolgoy: Mythos 1's front surround, Center channel:
Infinity Reference EL, Subwoofer Def. Tec. Supercube 1: rear surround:
Def. Tec. Mythos Gems at appropriate height via: Gem Stands.
Hi Def. TV stations absolutely pristine great color range and
unbeliveable rendering of blacks and greys. Show watched 2 HD.
episodes of HBO's Rome recorded by TV and a Boz Skaggs concert on a
DTV HDnet channel. 1 sit come on ABC local via satellite. Part of
"Bullit" with Steve McQueen on HD Movies.
SD watched CNN, History Channel, all SD channnels looked good to
excellent in Panel mode, Crappy in full screen mode in most cases some
looked good however in Full screen mode. I attribute this to the video
source rather than the TV.
DVD watched: "Saving Private Ryan" Wide screen special edition.
Absolutley fantastic rendering.
