Don't pass...component inputs will do HD just fine and you're likely to run that set for a long time. Thanks, Dan. It's a Toshiba 43HX70 with the following inputs:
1 x S-Video input (4 pin mini-DIN), 1 x Composite video/audio input (RCA phono x 3), 2 x Composite video/audio input (RCA phono x 3) - Rear, 2 x S-Video input (4 pin mini-DIN) - Rear, 2 x HD component input (RCA phono x 3) - Rear, 2 x RF input (F connector) - Rear, 1 x Center channel audio input (RCA phono) - Rear, 1 x Composite video/audio output (RCA phono x 3) - Rear, 1 x Variable audio output (RCA phono x 2) - Rear
So you'd pass? I thought the buzz on this unit was pretty good overall, but my concern was more with the idea of a used RPTV at all.
