Hi,
I am considering making my first entry into HDTV and have been looking around for monitors that will display the full 1080i resolution. The only thing I have found is the SONY SDM-P234/B and the Samsung 234T. These are just a tad on the small size (23") and I was hoping for something a bit larger.
Can someone giveme some additional pointers to brands and models that are available now?

If you are planning to use the monitor as a TV at a normal 6 to 10 feet sitting distance, you will be very hard pressed to tell the difference between a 1920x1080 versus a 1366x768 resolution display for anything much under 50". At normal TV sitting distances with the smaller screen TV sizes, you should not get too hung up on having a true 1080i display.
But if you are looking for a desktop PC based monitor, there are not that many affordable 1920x1200 displays beyond the 23" to 24" LCD displays that you mentioned. For much bigger direct view "1080i/p" LCDs, there is the 45" Sharp Aquos, the 46" Samsung (very hard to find), and the 37" Westinghouse that I know of. I think a few others are coming on the market, but these are all HD TVs, not monitors.
