Yes, but this wasn't the type of competition where Mike could
have safely controlled his placement. If Mike had let someone else win,
he could have easily been stuck in a position where he couldn't afford
to miss a tile. (Of course, it turned out that Steve was pathetic and
that strategy would have been less risky than it seemed.)
