Spoiler updates from Sucks:

- Sucks poster blackwhale has a story (or two) to go with this
particular boot: "Many people assume Danielle's boot comes as a result
of some sort of pre-ASS alliance between Jerri, Sandra, Rupert and
Colby. This isn't true. While it is a 4-3 vote, 1 pre-ASS person votes
against a fellow pre-ASSer, and one post-ASS person votes against
Danielle."

- blackwhale later followed that up with this: "Russell is concerned
that Danielle has an alliance or side deal with the heroes. She
doesn't, but he does. He feels he should be the only entitled to have
a deal with the heroes.... he turned Colby and Rupert on her (even
though she wasn't alligned with them). If you remember the pre-show
videos, Danielle wanted to improve her social game and that was what
she trying to do, she wasn't making any alliances with the heroes. She
was loyal all the way to Russell and Parvati and could have betrayed
them, but didn't. Russell's betrayal of her is undeserved and very
upsetting to her."

- Finally, in response to the following vote list from soph101
(Russell, Colby, Rupert, Jerri vote for Danielle; Sandra, Parvati,
Danielle vote for Rupert), blackwhale says: "Parvati has concerns over
his alliances with the heroes after she sees that vote go down."

Remember the scene in episode 1 where Russell tells Parvati if she
makes the merge she will have options? That scene becomes relevant.
They work together the whole way but also try to one-up each other.
From Parvati undermining Russell's authority and giving Sandra her
extra idol, to Russell's alliances with the heroes, to Parvati taking
Candice away from him, to Russell taking Danielle away from her
(Danielle starts to become more gung-ho about the chicks thing).

No doubt about the fact that Russell had no chance of winning this
game. We all know he's the "best player EVER!!!!111!!one!~!" but he
still seems to respect Parvati's game. He doesn't respect Sandra's. If
he had not taken down Danielle when he did, there would have been a
much better chance of Parvati winning. Instead, it looks like Sandra
probably has the best shot with the jury, and he again will be
seething mad at the reunion. He just doesn't see her as a strong
woman. Danielle was not only loyal, but she provided a path for
Russell's alliance to win the game. There is no way he can justify
voting her out as any sort of good decision. Danielle's a tough cookie
and knew what she was doing out there. But her alliance with Russell
was made on day 1 while Russell's alliance with Parvati was made long
before day 1, so she took the fall. (editor: unsubstantiated
