I am ready to declare Russell the best player ever.

The "best player ever" is still around only because Tyson is an idiot.

A good player or team or a fighting force in a war capitalizes on
people's mistakes. Russell knew Tyson was the weakest link and went
after him after figuring out that Boston Rob was trying to
blindsiding him, but of course you don't want to give Russell any
credit and rely on conspiracy theories.... LOL!

Right...

Russell bet his Survivor future on the belief that:

a) The "heroes" had a plan to split the vote between himself and Parvati
(he even said that they were too stupid to have such a plan),
----
Yeah, he figured that out. He knew Rob was trying to blind side him.
He said so.

and
b) Tyson was stupid enough to change his vote for no apparent reason.

Right...
----
As I said he went for the weakest link. He knew Rob and Sandra wasn't
going to listen to him. It is even conceivable Russell remembered
when Tyson was burned during a similar plan to split the vote to get
someone out during his season when his alliance turned on him and
voted him out so he was gun shy.

In any event Russell knew that Tyson was his only hope and he turned
him by lying to him and saying he was going to vote for Parvity since
the consensus wanted her gone. With that Tyson figured that Russell
will keep the idol for himself and maybe use it and vote Parvity.
Making it four votes for Parvtiy to three for Russell and only two
for him (Tyson) That would mean Parvity was definitely going home
because he knew at least three votes were going to Parvati. Tyson
wanted Russell as a possible ally he could control so get out the
bigger threat (he thought) Parvity and get a weakened Russell on his
side.
