He screwed himself and he screwed the Rob
alliance and I don't get why at all.

He said during his confessional. He wanted to get to the food so he
wanted the vote over quickly. Guess he though a tie vote would result
in another hour or two before they got to the food. As you say he
screwed everyone because he assumed Russell was telling him the truth.

But he believed it was already 4 Parv, 3 Russell (if he'd done his
job), with
2 left over!

Whether he believed Russell or not, hungry or not, his best play was
to
stand pat. Musta been so deranged by hunger that he couldn't see
anything else, I guess.
