Umm.. Mike Boogie is not one of the best BB players. He was brought
back and saved by Dr. Will. If he had been in the game on his own he
isn't likely to have made it to the final two, while Dr. Will could
have made it to the final two on his own without Boogie being in the
game. Boogie's an okay player but he isn't capable of winning the game
on his own with Will's help. Together as a team they are very good.
If victory is not how you define 'best' what criteria do you use as an
alternate?
I would agree Russell is definitely playing best now with everybody else
a distant second but the transition to the end game is also critically
important and I've seen a LOT of players I consider All-Star calibre
fold in the endgame."
Absolutely.
True, goat.
You're right.
If Russ were to win...he would be the best...for SURE.
I think he could be the best in either case. Getting to the end is
tough but winning can often be a crapshoot. It all depends on how the
jury makes a decision. Some years it seems they vote based on personal
reasons so they refuse to vote for the person that they see as
responsible for their boot and other years they vote for the most
strategic vote. Unfortunately I don't think the viewers have ever
gotten a good view of how they will vote as I've seen times the fans
were sure someone would vote strategically and instead they voted
based on personal feelings.
So it's a bit of a crap shoot as to whether Russell can win if he gets
to the F2/F3. He can help his odds by making sure that no Galu member
makes it there but I'm not sure there's much more he can do.
He may STILL be...even if he DOESN'T win.
Dr. Will...picked out weak players...told everyone not to trust
him...etc.
Russ just seems to have a better 'handle' on things...PLUS...he doesn't
have the
'cute guy' factor that helped Dr. Will.
Can you imagine how dangerous Russell would be if he Dr. Will's looks
and charm to go along with Russell's physical abilities and mental
toughness? That would be a deadly combination.
Were this a sitcom...whenever Dr. Will would smile...they would have a.
little flash on his teeth and a bell sound.
:-)
We'll see.
