Judging from all the comments I seem to be in a minority ... but I
liked this season ... I've watched them all ... but this is the first
time in a while that I've actually looked forward to Thursday
evening ...
The players appeared to be "more real" ... They had identifiable
personalities ... The challenges were a nice mix ... Players injured
and perservered ... They were given less ... Seems like they all lost
a lot of weight ... The Survival aspect was more present ...
Even the obnoxious players ... were more comic relief than
annoying ...
Last season IMO was terrible and the saving grace was that the only
remaining player towards the end that actually did anything won ...
and the production was so much more filled with stock wildlife/scenery
footage ... than what they were actually experiencing ...
