This thread is the call for entries for the Chips Contest leading up to
the twelfth episode of "Survivor: Tocantins". Entries must be posted by

First, if there are any blonde females under 30 reading this, I wouldn't
audition for "Survivor" if I were you because you will never win the
million dollars. That trend has held true every season, and this vote
keeps the drought going.
Those of you who retracted big bets on Debbie this week made a smart play.
The spoiler reporting her demise turned out be false, and instead CBS
security is working overtime trying to keep Dubya away from Ponderosa now
that Sierra is on her way there. She fell one week short of the target
the house set, costing the field about 2,300 chips plus 250 from Mrs.
Clean, who lost her bet that she would outlast Coach.
BTW, the reason the odds were so high on Debbie at first--including 10:1
that she'd be targeted by Dub's flower--was because I did not expect the
high school principal to be a target until near the end. You know, if
that false spoiler had that come up and B.N. had stayed with his
2,752-chip bet against Debbie, he would been out of chips until the F4.
Instead, he collected one big payout of 1,000 chips, and a bunch of small
payouts including 12, 11, 8, and 2 chips. And Ar Q had correlated with
that big bet, and in the end it was just as well because all of his bets
were based on anyone BUT Sierra getting voted out--again, the diametric
opposite of what happened. Dub was bold enough to bet twice that Sierra
would make it the finale, and his losses ended up cancelling out his 10:1
payout on Sierra's vote. All told, only four players bet on Sierra's
ouster. For three of them, it didn't amount to much, but Mrs. Clean's
four-figure wager turned into a haul of over 7,000 chips, putting her back
in first place. She's in a position to run away with it--but that's what
we thought in coming into the penultimate episode in Gabon.
Unfortunately, history did repeat itself for madamS, who is now officially
cleaned out. Madam, doob would greatly appreciate it if you bring him
some rye melba rounds from the buffet.
Yeah, I would, but there was a terrible accident with the melba rounds - I
was falling on my sword as all honorable losers do, and I bled all over
them. Either that or I was whining and and cried all over them. I don't
really remember what happened.... You believe that, right? After all I would
hate for you to question my honesty and integrity.
