I doubt she chose to wear them, MB stupidly went with the street
clothes rule again this season.

Who, in their right mind, would wear an uncomfortable outfit to Survivor,
knowing that they might need to wear the same clothes to play the game..?

After 18 seasons, no one. Which is why MB orders the Survivor
costume dept to force the players to wear inappropriate street clothes,
to the point of actually _issuing_ inappropriate street clothes to the
players.

This info came out last season, when Michelle (the 1st boot) admitted
that she had been forced to wear shorty-shorts and a tank-top by MB
and someone here later posted a transcript of an interview with S16
China contestant Ashley, where she said she had been forced to wear
fish-net stockings and other goofy clothes by MB.

Now I understand that MB needs to control what the players bring to
the island to prevent cheating but if he's going to dress up the players,
they ought to be dressed up in appropriate camping clothes/swimsuits.

Because nobody is buying the line anymore that the players were
"fooled" into wearing these clothes, (JP doesn't even bother with that
story anymore) it's not fair to the players for one person to be stuck in
a skimpy dress and cowboy boots (Carolina) while another gets cargo
shorts and hiking boots, (Scarecrow Sandy) and finally, the players
look like shit dressed in ripped up and grungy street clothes.
