I would think that they will have SOME time to know each other first.

They can't just vote from the boat ride, don'tcha think?

Sure they can and I believe they have done something like this in the past.
It's totally unfair to the people who get booted and makes you wonder what
the purpose of casting extra people was in the first place. If MB thinks it
makes the first episode more exciting he's wrong as far as I'm concerned.
I'd rather they start with 16 players and give us some time to get to know
these people as well as getting to know each other better (minimum of 3
days).
