Well, given that he only thinks two girls from this group are

I
think it's safe to say that the majority of us do not agree with
Dubya's
opinion of what is attractive. I am a straight woman, and still can
see
that
quite a few of the women are attractive, even though they are not
sexually
attractive TO ME but I don't think DW has ever admitted that a male,
or
any
woman with curves, was attractive. I'm sure a psychiatrist could have
a
lot
of fun with that. ;)
2 for sure, maybe 4, actually, in the S18 cast.
And as for the men in this or any previous season, there have been
plenty of men that I would acknowledge women would find physically
attractive. So please do not label me as some sort of homophobe.
And a team of psychiatrists could certainly make their entire careers
exploring my inner depths, I am sure...
I certainly did not mean to label you as a homophobe. I didn't think you
would ever consider a man as being attractive, and this discussion was
about
whether or not the Survivors, both women and men, were attractive.
It would be a rarity that any Survivor male was not attractive to
"most women".
I disagree. I think women are much more picky than you realize.
Perhaps. And very likely. Not being a woman puts me at a significant
disadvantage, but I think most women are less superficial and admire
qualities other than appearance...
You are absolutely correct about women admiring qualities other than
appearance. But I was assuming that we were talking about appearance when we
used the word "attractive". I admire Yau-man, and therefore I guess you
could say that I was attracted to him as a person, and I certainly would
count him among the more interesting Survivors, but I would not have counted
him among the attractive ones. Perhaps your seeming to judge women by
appearance alone is what has always irritated me. I know you didn't say that
you judge them by outward appearance alone, but you certainly give that
impression.
Outward appearance is definitely first, because that is all you have
to go on initially. The more important aspects of a person are
invisible and must be ascertained over time and through conversation.
Probably the same for the women.
Pretty much everyone, Survivor cast or not, is "attractive" to many
people.
But that does not mean they are attractive to ME.
My major point has been that what is attractive to YOU is not at all what
the majority finds attractive. You worded it in a way that makes it seem
like the majority and I find "pretty much everyone" attractive. That is
hardly the case. There are an awful lot of ugly people out there, and
many
of them end up on Survivor.
Sorry, I had not intended that at all. 99 percent of everybody out
there is unattractive to ME, but I assume they are all considered
attractive by some others.
I can't help but wonder how many of the 1% that you find attractive, find
YOU attractive? I'm not suggesting that you should lower your standards ,
but expamding them might help you sound a little less like Randy.
Randy is certainly not someone I would choose to emulate, but I would
say he and share a lot of "qualities".
As for women, when I was younger and worked out daily, I received
plenty of attention, but I was married so nothing ever came to
fruition. And I would characterize all of my wives except maybe the
first one as caring a lot more about my money than about my looks.
I am average to the extreme. I would not say I was either
particularly attractive or unattractive. Just average.
And the women I want to "be with" would have nothing to do with me
except for the money. And the women who want to be with me for other
reasons are of no interest to me.
So my choices are 1) No social interaction at all, 2) be with girls
who only like me for my money, or 3) be with girls I do not find
attractive but "love" me.
