Having spent 4 winters living in Winnipeg and 3 in southern Ontario
and seeing the pictures of winter in Minnesota, NY and New England, I
suspect that if you came to Vancouver (where I live) in winter you'd
be warming up not cooling down.


Compared to New England and the upper Midwest US, probably true.

Compared to sunny San Diego, I think anyplace north in the winter is
going to be colder than I would like.

But it looks like you live in the better part. Weather-wise at least.


Don't you believe HG. What he doesn't tell you is Vancouver, BC is damp
and rainy like Seattle.


Even better. I prefer rainy and cloudy so long as it is not too cold
that it freezes...
