Maybe I put too much emphasis on the responsibility a person has when
they represent the USA.

The crying,the inability to perform tasks doesn't bother me.Apparently
she isn't in the shape like her good old days.What bothered me was the
middle finger salute she gave another player.Apparently the discipline
she learned in her Olympic days have fallen by the wayside.

As far as I am concerned if you represent the USA then act like you have
manners.


The point you make about having manners and acting properly while you are
representing the USA is a good one. However, now that she is off the Olympic
team, she is not representing the USA any more than any of the other
Survivors. Just because a person once represented the USA in the Olympics
does not mean that they are representing us forever. I refuse to believe
that Tonya Harding is STILL representing me! And yes, there are other past
Olympians I don't want representing me, she's just the first that came to
mind.
