that there have been multiple HII's available and I'd say it's pretty
unlikely
that MB would have stuck her with an empty "Clue" container.

Both seasons when there were two idols, the idols were hidden at each camp
so it seems unlikely that there would be two hidden on EI. More important is
the fact that if there is another idol, she would be the first one receiving
the new clue and typically the person receiving the first clue doesn't find
it. So not only did she spare herself the trouble of searching for an idol
she probably wouldn't find, she prevented the next person who goes to EI
from getting the second clue.


A valid point if that is the case.


I'll add that even though the clues for the idol Sugar found were a
progression, she received a map, which the first guy didn't receive and that
apparently made all the difference.


We do not know whether Dan received the map or not. The clue by
itself should have been sufficient.
