I'd like to know how/why Kelly is on the outside (her vote came
out of nowhere)
Paloma was paired with Kelly.
Yeah, but we haven't been shown _why_ Kelly aligned with her.
I don't remember any shots of her hanging out with Paloma or
getting on the bad side of the 4+1 alliance or AceHole being a
dick to her, ect. In fact, I don't think we've heard her say a single
word so far.
Of course it's only the third episode and most of the time has been
spent on Reddumb Tribe but you'd think we would have seen at
least one one-on-one interview with her (or maybe we did and she
is so forgettable that I forgot?).
My guess is that the brief conversation we were shown where Paloma told
Kelly that Ace was gunning for her and she couldn't stand him and Kelly
said
she couldn't stand him either was intended to give us the impression that
they had an alliance. Kelly voting for Ace was further "proof."
The big question of course is why the rest of the tribe didn't clue Kelly
into how they planned to vote. Do they not like her or are they
sacrificing
her to Ace to buy themselves some more time to solidify their alliance and
maybe pull in a few other people to blindside Ace big time down the road?
No need to clue Kelly in. They are all humoring Ace but do not seem
to be discussing the votes amongst themselves. It is just Ace telling
the others and HE saw no need to tell Kelly.
I disagree that there is no need to clue Kelly in. If Marcus, Charlie, etc.
want to keep Kelly for awhile they should have told her. Now Ace will be on
a mission to find out who the other person was that voted against him which
puts Kelly at risk.
Marcus et al have no need to keep Kelly around, nor any particular
desire to do so. As long as Ace wants to target non-alliance members,
they are correctly just sitting back and going along with it.
