admit that she places everyone in a pecking order of importance in her life.
She has a rose-colored mirror in a lot of ways.
F2 Format- As soon as I saw the first IC I knew there was no way that was
the final IC and that Cirie was doomed. However, I thought Parvati started
messing up her chances by talking. It's not wise to tell the person
casting the vote that you're her biggest competition.
Both Parvati and Cirie told Amanda that they were the biggest schemers, thus
made the most formidable opponent to Amanda at the final TC. I took that as
an awareness by both Parvati and Cirie that Amanda felt schemers were
actually the ones least likely to win the game. Reverse psychology: tell
Amanda you are a big threat because of your scheming and Amanda hears
'schemers are bad so I should take the biggest schemer to F2'.
In Cirie's eyes, the most formidable opponent would not be a
"schemer", it would be anyone more sympathetic than herself. Cirie, a
mom with three kids was a bigger threat (to Amanda). Surely everyone
would see herself as "nicer" than Parvati.
I was particularly disappointed by the F3 change because I really wanted
to see if Cirie could sell her game to the jury.
Agreed. I think seeing Cirie and Parvati face each other would have made
the conclusion less foregone than with Parvati/Amanda.
THAT would have been the only good F-2 combination ever since they
went to F-4.
Amanda vs. Parvati- James declared to everybody that Amanda had it in the
bag, yet once again, Amanda totally blew it with her final TC performance.
I think that James was just pointing out that Amamnda had his vote 'in the
bag', not that she had the game 'in the bag'.
No. He was stating there was no way Amanda could lose. He THOUGHT
this because HE was voting for her, and assumed everyone else would as
well. It could very well have been that pre-voting conversations at
Ponderosa were similar to pre-voting discussions at camp - Ozzy
telling everyone to vote for Amanda and, rather than argue, many of
them said they would follow Ozzy's lead. Ozzy was sure hoping that
would be the case - he was already counting Amanda's money...
Parvati owned up to her actions and why she deserved to win while Amanda
relied on those doe eyes. Her answer to Cirie's question basically said,
"Parvati played a great game.... so give her your vote." And frankly, I'm
glad they listened because Parvati did play a great game and gave a great
jury performance.
I thought Parvati's jury performance was a bit weak (still much stronger
than Amamnda's).
Parvati never did call out Ozzy for the simple fact that he never would have
taken her to F2. He overplayed./claimed the bond between the two of them
when he knows very well that Parvati was below Amanda and James on his
pecking order.
She also failed to correctly address James' claim that she wasn't straight
with him after the Ozzy boot. We saw in the edit that Parvati directly told
James that her plan was to go to the end with all women and she should have
reminded him of that when he made his claim that she was less than forward
with him.
We saw ONE clip. Surely they spoke at other times over the several
days that passed between Ozzy and James leaving.
