What Dreamz Did Vs. What Colby Did In S2

In S2, Colby had made a promise to take Tina to the F2. He kept it, rather than backstabbing her and taking Keith instead. And he lost. And most fans thought he was an idiot.
In S14, Dreamz had made a promise not to vote off Yau-Man. He broke it. And most fans think what he did was wrong.
Is this not a contradiction?
Why is what Dreamz did, any less moral than what Colby did?
Why is what Colby did, dumber than what Dreamz did?
The only reason I can think of is that more was at stake: Colby had a real shot at $1 million whereas Dreamz didn't. IOW, morality only counts when the stakes are low, right?
