By this logic the player a couple of seasons back who was offered the
chance to give ALL the remaining players a car and give up his own
would have had to pay the taxes on ALL the vehicles?
I can see why he might not wish to trade his car for the
popularity...of course as a Canadian I'm not up on American tax law
(among other things game show winnings are tax-exempt in Canada) but
if you're right that would have been quite a penalty to pay - if you
don't win the million the taxes on 5 or 6 cars would be at least half
your winnings...
