post are simply a statement, I'm not trying to convince you nor
change
your mind about anything, you however are trying to be clever while
trying
to get me to see your point of view. Technically in my first post,
it was
my spelling that was wrong, not my grammar. If it is not worth you
time
then don't reply, sort of like if you don't like what's on
television
then change the channel or turn it off. My original post wasn't even
directed at you but you continue to make it a me against you thing.
If
you reply to this post then who is the idiot? (simple question, not
resorting to name calling) If the facts were right, the grammar was
wrong.

Are you saying that if only one of the people referred to is Chinese,
then
it should properly be: Chinaman is so lucky. ? Because if both of
the
people referred to are Chinese, then it should properly be: Chinamen
are so lucky. Because a singular noun requires a singular verb, and
a plural noun requires a plural verb So it seems to me also that his
facts were wrong but if they were correct, his grammar would be
correct.



So when you are saying, "if the facts were right,the grammar was
wrong", do you mean that as in, "if the facts were corrected, the
grammar would have to be corrected also."? I originally interpeted your
statement as "If what you are saying is true,the grammar is incorrect."

Exactly, since only one of them are Chinese then referring to them as
Chinamen was incorrect. So if the facts were to have been stated
correctly then again the grammar was incorrect. I have no idea why
alooo took it so serious.

I posted shortly after your last post. The reason that I posted was to
try to clarify your position. Because, frankly, you were doing a lousy
job of it. You obviously did not understand ( and probably still don't)
that there are 2 ways to interpret your statement. And to use my own
quote in that way is a pretty rude thing to do for someone who tries to
appear as though he stands above rudeness. It doesn't apply to me,
anyway, because this is my first post on the subject, and therefore you
don't know if I changed my mind or not.
