There are so many ideas people can come up with to try and make Survivor
better. But I'll tell you the one twist, IMO, that really sucked and I
hope they never ever use it again.

Remember Pearl Islands, when they brought back the "Out Cast' tribe.
What a joke. They claimed that the out casts where rationed food to
make it a fair competition. But were they sitting on an island with
*** for shelter, against the elements, exerting energy in challenges
and doing all the other things a normal tribe member endures on a daily
basis? I doubt it. They had an advantage and took advantage of it.
Then Lil gets all the way to the end. I know no one on he jury said it,
but I am sure most of them thought "there is no way a person who was
voted off wins" even if it was against Johnny Fairplay. I know if I
were on the Jury and a person who was once voted off sat in front of me,
I would NEVER vote for them to win. Maybe that's just me?

Agreed. Horrible idea, and it was obvious that the only way an outcast
was gonna win the game was if it was Burton vs. Lill in the final 2.
As hated as Johnny Fairplay was, he would have likely crushed Lill 6-1
or 5-2 at worst.

Likewise, having a returning player in a non-All Stars season taints
the game considerably. Steph had essentially a free ticket to the
final 2 in Guatemala. Early in the show she had so many fans that none
of them would have ever considered voting her off. Later in the game
she looked like the perfect final 2 goat since no one would vote for a
returning player, so no one even tried to vote her out; after the ep
where BJ and Danni voted for her she never had a vote cast against her
again. Steph was never gonna win the game as a returning player.
Although it should be noted that Steph's demise was largely due to her
own doing, she backstabbed all her allies except Rafe, and they all
voted for Danni instead of her.
