How about this idea for a wild new twist:
Instead of two tribes of Americans going to some exotic foreign locale
to survive there, how about two tribes of foreigners coming to an
American locale to survive here?
I was thinking about casting an all-Japan tribe of Japanese men and
women, versus an all-Russian tribe of Russian men and women. None of
whom speak English. And have them try to survive in the Everglades or
maybe in Death Valley or in Yellowstone National Park or some other
exotic-looking part of America.
And there would be interesting interactions after the Merge in which
Japanese and Russians have to learn how to communicate with each other.
