That's like saying happiness is a figment of your imagination.
Loyalty is a subjective emotion; if you feel it, it exists, whether
anyone else thinks you should or not.
Those on the jury are no longer in a tribe, their "tribe has spoken"
and told them to hit the bricks. They will never be on a tribe
again, ever. The concept of a jury is to be an objective third
party who judges on the merit's of one's actions, not to vote for
the people who booted you just because you were on their team.
They didn't necessarily boot you, though. Terry didn't boot Austin or
Sally. On the other hand, he didn't do everything he possibly could
to save them. So will they feel any loyalty to him? That's a fair
question, but it's silly to say they automatically shouldn't.
This isn't a trial jury, it's Survivor. There's absolutely no
suggestion that the jury should be objective and vote on some dry
system of merit. In fact, I'm sure Burnett would hate that. Their
votes are *supposed* to be affected by friendship and hatred, loyalty
and betrayal -- and they are.
