It's the equivalent of winning an Individual Reward Challenge where the
Reward is a trip to some resort area all by yourself.

This early in the game it would not matter that much to be separated
from your tribe for a night or two, unless you had already pissed them
off really bad. I would not throw a challenge to get sent to Exile
island...but I WOULD nobly volunteer to go if my team lost.
