You must be listening to a different Jim Rome than I have the past 7
years. The only time I can remember him "muting" anyone is when
callers start dropping race bombs or gay bombs...or they are flailing
so bad they can't read the words off the scripts they've prepared to
give their takes. Can't even begin to count the number of times he's
let a caller, who he totally disagreed with, continue their take and
then Rome will counter after the person has had his say.

Rome does great interviews and has garnered the respect of many pro
atheletes, coaches, etc. Both his radio show and ESPN show are
fantastic....plus he's just damn funny!
