Re: Survivor: A New Host

I know that this has been beaten to death around here, and I've even commented on it myself, but, I have to speak once again...

We've all heard the rumors that if Probst (or Pro-Host as I like to call him) leaves, there will be a former female contestant taking over the reins as Chief Vote-Counter/Challenge Commentator/TC Antagonist. There are some who have commented that Jenna Morasca might be a choice, as she is currently co-host of the 'Survivor Live' show on CBS.com, and has been a fairly prominent figure in reality TV circles since her Survivor stints.

Well, I have just finished watching the most recent episode of 'Survivor Live', with Gary as the guest (sorry to see you go Gary) and I must say, I would be highly disappointed to see Jenna take over as the new Pro-Host . She seems to lack enthusiasm and is just too ditzy to provide an objective or meaningful commentary. Plus, I can't see her having the insight to read into the game in a way that could spark those interesting Tribal Councils that we have come to know and love.

"Like, hand over your torch. Like, OK, tribe's spoken here. When you gotta go, you gotta go" -- Jenna Morasca, host of S13 (and beyond)
