Dont you think the fact that Survivor started a week early this year
had an effect as people arent into the fall season yet??

And besides reducing the potential audience itself there has been such
a preoccupation with Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath and all the
coverage of it on TV that this might have reduced the first week
numbers for Survivor as well??
