The details are sparse, so I hadn't heard about the carpeted stairs.
Anyhoo - my theory is, a fatal accident happened on her watch with the
kid, and dad went off on her.

Nobody suicidal would bother binding their legs. I can see in a strange
sense binging one's own arms, thinking in panic you might try to claw
back up the rope. But there is no reason to bind one's own legs. Also,
she appears to have been a high-end lady. Everyone know what happens
when you die, and I can't imagine someone humiliating themselves
postmortem with piss and shit dripping out of your nekked body. If it
was suicide I'd bet lots of money she'd use pills, a gun, or at least
clothing from the waist down to collect waste.

Their was binding on each leg but they weren't bound together.
Strange.
As far as the piss and shit, I would think she may not have eaten
since
the child was hurt, two days, so maybe there wasn't much.
