According to this report Shacknai's brother cut her down while she was
still alive and she was still alive when the paramedics came. Also
according to this report Shacknai's ex-wife (mother of the boy) was at
the home and witnessed the event. But nothing official I guess.

WOW - that was full of details I never heard before - she was clinging to life, they had a party the day after the kid fell, Shacknai's ex-wife was at the scene when the gf died.... this one will get interesting. Thanks for this most excellent link that is chock full of goodies!
