So, is Casey Anthony going to fry, or what?
The entomologist's testimony could be problematic for the defense,
unless pappy George can be implicated.
Why the argument over the paper towels with insects
is garbage or trash? I understand the distinction
Dr. Haskell made between them, but it seems that
the defense is picking nits (no pun intended) that
would work against his case.
I don't follow this case religiously, but from regular TV news,
I seem to remember a snippet of testimony from the 'bug guy'
where he failed to rule out the possibility of there being a body
in the trunk of Casey's car contemporaneous to the disappearance.
It suggests that Casey (or someone) was hauling a bug attractant.
I don't follow it too closely either, just the bullet point recaps that surface in the news. But I think you're right - some bug guy found in Casey's car trunk some form of fly or maggot that feasts on a body at a certain stage of decomp that would suggest the body was there several days, or several days after she died. Something like that. IMO the body must have been there a while for that smell to sink into fabric and such that it smelled so strongly once the body was gone.
