Personally, I'm saying that Christianity should be about Jesus Christ. He
preached love and tolerance, not hate.
There is a large and loud contingent of folks calling themselves Christians
who preach nothing but hate. I don't think Jesus would approve.
This large and loud contingent also seem to relate themselves to
conservatism, also. I suppose that this is where Poe's idea of Lib's hating
Christians comes from. I don't believe religion has anything - or should
have anything - to do with politics. But, if anything, the left seems to
embody Christ's teachings more than the right.
