Anyone have stats on falsely convicted cold cases? Or even, conviction rates for those
accused of cold cases?

In Northeastern Pennsylvania yesterday, a cold case from 1991
involving the rape-murder of a camp counselor in the Poconos ended
with a not-guilty-on-all-counts verdict in favor of the defendant,
arrested in 2009. Anyone interested can find video from start to
finish on www.wnep.com. The victim is Laura Ronning, found dead at an
isolated stream in July of 1992. The acquitted defendant is Geoffrey
Plishka, who admitted to speaking with the victim the morning she was
found shot to death but denied involvement in her murder.
