 He is trying to separate both the Natalee Holloway's disappearance
from the Stephany Flores murder case.  He has made some very valid
points on Natalee Holloway disappearance, and how it is almost
impossible to bring Joran to trial for her disappearance/ in my
thinking: death.

I beg to differ.  :)   I think there is far more evidence, be it
circumstantial, against Joran in the Holloway case, than there was against
Knox in Italy.  JMO.

   The direct evidence ends with a CCTV image outside of Carlos n
Charlie's bar of a silver Honda driving away with the Kalpoe Brothers,
Joran and Natalee.  The circumstantial evidence ends on a beach between
the Holiday Inn and the Marriot Hotel in Aruba.  The speculative road
map points that Natalee was dumped miles off shore...  There are no
traces of Natalee, no clothes, no footprints, no signs of foul play,
just speculation, and the knowledge of marine biology.

 If there should any adage to help with getting murder charges and a
conviction, it should be this: Secure the crime scene.  I think why
Amanda Knox was convicted because the postal police secured the crime
scene. Ditto for Scott Peterson's tenuous conviction, when the Modesto
PD detective secured Scott Peterson's storage area and office.  

   If the Aruba Police put the focus from the beginning as a murder
investigation rather than a missing person's case, they may had a
chance, or a better chance.  Joran wasn't contacted for close to 20
hours after Natalee disappeared, so he had time to work on his alibi,
and throw off some of the preliminary inquiries.

The Aruba police had no reason to treat it as a murder investigation
from the beginning. People who go missing usually turn up again, and
missing persons reports are pretty much always treated this way.

   It isn't just Joran's actions. I think the Travel Company that booked
the trip for Natalee and her classmates, took a laissez faire attitude,
and thought like many others did, Natalee is hungover on a beach
somewhere, and just missed her flight.  I think there wasn't a police
report filed until after midday, probably twelve hours since she was
dumped in the ocean.  

The travel company probably has extensive experience with people
missing their flights -- and the majority are hung over on a beach, as
you put it, rather than murder victims (as you speculate).

 The press coverage was hysterical because missing Southern Blonds are
worth more press coverage and fascination than non blonds, or from
different socio economic backgrounds..

Missing blonde *females*.

If it had been a high school BOY who had gone missing in 2005, you and
I would probably never have heard about it.
