So why are so many self identify tea baggers so up in arms about health care reform?
Ask the "self identify tea baggers."
The law that is pretty moderate, has no element of a
single payer national health care policy of many nations, no universal coverage. Shit, if it works it will help bring the deficit down.
As I wrote a couple times, it is a nativist movement. Look up the word "nativist", before you gripe some more..
I know what the word "nativist" means.
As I said earlier, which you choose to ignore,
I don't have to defend every sign waved.
????!?!?!? Where did I write that you have to defend all the signs by people identify with the tea party movement?
I never claimed you wrote that. I made that statement earlier
in this thread, which you probably haven't followed until now.
I was merely showing how
wrong your simple statements with some empirical evidence.
A very tiny sample of empirical evidence.
I used an example of the signs and the website http://www.againstamnesty.com/ to support my point that the tea party is more than "fiscal conservatism", there is a strong anti illegal alien/undocumented worker streak in the movement.
I can show you many many many more tea party events that have
no such signs.
Any legislation that give a pathway to citizenship, will be look on by tea baggers as "amnesty". I didn't write you had to defend the entire movement.
But you're associating your claim that "any legislation that give
a pathway to citizenship, will be look on by tea baggers...." to
an entire movement. I don't have to search for web sites to prove
my arguments. I've been to many tea bag events. You are wrong.
And these signs are in the minority.
It doesn't matter if the signs are in the minority or the majority, as they are part of the "movement" and people self identify with the movement. Which is contrary to you blanket statements that I am ignorant of these bozos.
Then the tactics and beliefs of the Earth Liberation Front can
be attributed to ALL left wingers. PETA actions can be attributed
to ALL left wingers. Ditto with the Animal Liberation Front. And
Earth First's anarchist political philosophy.
Until you've been to one or more tea party events, you are taking a few events out of context.
Well I at least I graduated from the Sergeant Schulz school of "I know nothing" to the Chico Marx School of taking things out of context.
Get your ice cream tutsi frootsi ice cream.
Sorry I rather clean up Hapuna Beach than deal with these ill informed yokels. Enjoy yokelizing with these good decent Americans.
The discussion was civil until you came along.
