EXCLUSIVE: Shot Fired at House Minority Whip Cantor's Richmond Office

FOX has learned that the Richmond, VA campaign office of House Minority
Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) was shot at Monday.

Cantor, is the highest-elected Jewish official in the country and the
only Jewish Republican in the House.

As a member of the House leadership, U.S. Capitol Police provide Cantor
with a security detail around the clock. But FOX has learned that Cantor
was one of about ten lawmakers Thursday who asked for enhanced protection
after a spate of threats were. Most of the threats were directed at House
Democrats who voted in favor of the health care reform bill over the
weekend.

The Department of Homeland Security is involved in the Cantor case
because he is a member of the House leadership.

Wednesday, Capitol Police Chief Phil Morse, House Sergeant-at-Arms Bill
Livingood and FBI officials met with House Democrats behind closed doors
Wednesday to discuss security measures.

FOX has also obtained a threatening message left Friday on the voicemail
of Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-OH). This is believed to be the first threat
against a Republican member. The message contained racial overtones and
profane language.

Boy, I hate to reply to a psycho-0drunkie thread but this is

The main stream media, like lImbaugh, coulter, Fox News, and teh
others, try very hard to tie in any progressive idea with the most
extreme left wing activity: "If he were any more liberal, he would be
Satlin."

Taht tie-in is convenient for them, but not really accurate.

On the other hand, there seems to be a strong connectioin between teh
corporate powers and the criminally extreme right wing. The
mainstream media doesn't go into depth about this.

It's an old tradition: Since the 1920's we've had serious
investigations of the left wign - who was tied to communism, when?

We ahve not investigated the right wing, even when the right wing -in
the persons of the Czar, the Kaiser of Germany, Krupp, Hitler, and
Mussilini, caused not jsut one but two world wars.

There are still a few left wing conspiracies aroung, but they are few
and have little power.

To think there are no serious righ-wing conspiracies or to think that
they do not harm our freedoms is delusional.
