As I keep saying, women in general are smaller and weaker than men are.
This consideration has to have something to do with outcomes. I'm sure
plenty of women take advantage of social training to inflict slaps,
thinking there will be no retaliation from a male partner. As for doing
serious damage to a larger and stronger person, and getting away with
it, a smaller person would have different options than in the opposite
scenario.
A frequently repeated argument. However, weapons are a great equalizer.
Depends on the weapon. If it is something that can be used without
immediate notice (e.g., poison), or at a distance beyond reach (a gun),
it's a good weapon. A knife is not as good because men typically have a
longer reach and the strength to take it away. Another good weapon is
another man to do the physical attack.

Funny you should mention a knife. I used to work with a woman who
stabbed her husband. They'd been arguing (she was slicing stuff for
supper), he bent over for some reason (if she told me I've forgotten),
she stabbed him in the back, by his shoulder.

She went through a program, offered here, for first time offenders, of
delayed adjudication (if they do all the extras, then the charge is
reduced, and there is no jail time, and there are a boat load of
"extras"). So far as I know, they are still married.

I'm not suggesting it doesn't happen, just saying that due to our physical differences, different weapons are better (or worse).

In fact, if I recall correctly, women are more likely to use guns
than knives against a spouse.
